The wine has a vivid salmon color. In the nose you come against aromas of red berries with a little bit of cherries. The wine gives a soft refreshing taste with fruity finish.
Soil:
the vineyard is about 18 years old and has a slight south slope. The vineyard has very potential red karoo soil with layers of clay and lime.
Harvest:
the development of the grapes is closely monitored. The grapes are only picked at optimum ripeness (usually around the 3rd week of february). The harvest takes place at night with machines.
